VP Robredo SWS Satisfaction Rating Drops Significantly

VP Robredo SWS, Leni Robredo, SWS survey

VP Robredo SWS, Leni Robredo, SWS survey

The people are no longer satisfied with the Vice President Leni Robredo performance as her SWS satisfaction rating drops. It went down by 11 points in the first quarter of the year, according to a new Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey that also showed a slight drop amid still steady ratings for other top officials of government.

Robredo obtained a net satisfaction rating of +26 in the Social Weather Stations' survey of 1,200 respondents from March 25 to 28. Her score qualifies as "moderate," and is 11 percentage points down from her "good" +37 rating last December.

The March 25 to 28 survey was conducted days after Robredo revealed alleged irregularities in President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs via a video message to the United Nations.

The video message had prompted House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez to mull an an impeachment complaint against Robredo, whom he accused of betrayal of public trust.

The same survey showed Alvarez enjoying a 2 percentage point increase in his net satisfaction rating to a "moderate" +12 from a "moderate" +10.

Meanwhile, Senate President Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III and Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno also saw drops in their satisfaction marks, SWS noted.

Pimentel's rating dropped one grade to a "moderate" +37 from December’s "good" +49. Sereno's rating stayed "moderate", but dropped 2 points to +14 from +16.

Vice President Leni Robredo Calls Her Critics Trolls

Leni Robredo, Mocha Uson, Rodrigo Duterte, Social Media, trolls, Salvatore Ferragamo Varina Leather Flat

Vice President Leni Robredo called his critics “trolls” and said that she has no time to waste for them.

“I have no message for the trolls because I think it’s a lost cause. It’s a lost cause in the sense that they don’t know me, but they have already made a judgment,” she said in a television interview. When she was asked on GMA News TV to give a message to her critics, the Vice President said there was no point in trying to reach out to those who had closed their minds about her.

Their judgment is not coming from people who know me personally. Perhaps I can give a message to those who have open minds, but most of them have closed their minds, so there’s no point in wasting time on them,” Robredo said.

“Those with open minds are the ones whose comments matter to us, because it allows us to look at ourselves when we commit mistakes,” she said. “It’s also not right to keep getting praise when we are doing wrong,” she continued.
Robredo Yoga
Just Recently, a blogger accused her of living a life of luxury after she had a photo taken with her “personal yoga trainer.” Robredo has shrugged off her online critics, saying she has not even read Uson’s blog. “I would have to admit that I have not read her blog and I don’t intend to read it,” she said at an Inquirer forum in December.

MANILA, Philippines - As Super-typhoon Nina (international name Nock-Ten) pound her home provice, Vice President Leni Robredo found herself on the defensive for spending the Christmas break in the U.S.

She was criticized for her decision to go through her vacation in the United States even though it has been reported that her province is in direct path of the typhoon. Her spokesperson Georgina Hernandez said yesterday even though Robredo was away she was coordinating relief efforts.

Hernandez said Robredo “has been monitoring and directing the Office of the Vice President (OVP) to work with regional officials and agencies in setting up local relief centers for immediate emergency response on the ground.”

Robredo: Marcos buried "like a thief in the night"

Leni Robredo, Marcos burial, Ferdinand Marcos

Vice President Leni Robredo bashed the burial of the late president Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on Friday, November 18, said that "he is no hero."

The anti-Marcos protesters who are few was caught by surprise since the burial was only announced by Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa about an hour before it took place.

Robredo said in a statement on Friday, "Like a thief in the night, the Marcos family deliberately hid the information of burying former president Marcos today from the Filipino people. They obviously flouted the law where the decision does not become final and executory until 15 days or the resolution of the MR."

"As stated in several decisions from the Supreme Court, Ferdinand Marcos was a thief, a murderer, and a dictator. He is no hero. If he were, obviously his family would not have to hide his burial like a shameful criminal deed," the Vice President also said.

"We are disturbed that this happened in coordination with AFP and PNP, demonstrating further that the judicial process has been thoroughly disregarded," said the Vice President.

"This is nothing new to the Marcoses – they who had hidden wealth, hidden human rights abuses, and now, a hidden burial – with complete disrespect for the rule of law," said Robredo.

Well it's still fresh in the Filipino people's mind what happened last election, when there was a sudden surge in Robredo's vote late at night when everyone was sleeping.

Former Comelec Chairman Sixto Brillantes castigated "presumptuous" Robredo for claiming victory

leni robredo motorcade vs bong bong marcos motorcade

Former Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairman Sixto Brillantes Jr. chastise the overconfident camp of vice presidential race front-runner Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo for claiming victory in the hotly-contested race for the Vice-president position.

Brillantes, post on Twitter castigating Robredo’s camp for claiming the vice presidency “without a single canvass document being opened.”

He then lambaste very "presumptous" Robredo for asking Marcos to concede.

“How can Robredo claim victory when not a single official canvass document has been opened? Congress has not even convened as canvass body."

“Now Robredo wants BBM to concede based on alleged small unofficial lead. She cannot be that presumptuous,” Brillantes posted on his Twitter.

Brillantes had earlier said that he will represent Marcos during the canvassing of votes for the vice presidency.

Congress will convene as the national board of canvassers to declare the country’s next president and vice president on May 25.

On Sunday, Robredo said that it is “mathematically impossible” for Marcos to win the vice presidency and catch up with her lead.

Robredo’s camp said that even if all 168,988 registered voters from the nine remaining municipalities which have not transmitted their certificates of canvass would go to Marcos, they will still emerge victorious as the lawmaker is enjoying a lead of 257,567 votes as of Sunday afternoon.

According to the latest partial and unofficial tally provided by the Comelec’s transparency server, Robredo trumps Marcos with more than 219,000 votes.
