On the Vice President Leni Robredo radio show "BISErbisyong Leni", she said that she and her daughter Aika travel to the United States earlier than plan so that they can attend the FASO even wherein she was the guest of honor and speaker. She also said in Boston, people threw things that cannot be sold, like appliances and other things that can still be use. She said that she and her daughter pick them up so they can use them.
Atty. Bruce Rivera laid out the reasons why they will be filing an impeachment complaint against Vice President Leni Robredo. He said that Robredo betrayed public trust when she sent a video message criticizing the government's war on drugs to the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs. He said Robredo "dishonored" the Filipino people by claiming that 7,000 people have died in the drug war of the Duterte administration.
He also said that Robredo misused the Pag-IBIG funds when she was chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC). He said Robredo sponsored a national convention in the US, which is not connected to housing.
"Number one, she misstated several things in her SALN. Number two, there are funds in the HUDCC that were not properly used," he said.
He said the complaint has been submitted to a male lawmaker but refused to identify him. He also claimed critics will have the numbers to successfully impeach Robredo.
It was exposed by Sass Rogando Sasot:

MANILA, Philippines - As Super-typhoon Nina (international name Nock-Ten) pound her home provice, Vice President Leni Robredo found herself on the defensive for spending the Christmas break in the U.S.
She was criticized for her decision to go through her vacation in the United States even though it has been reported that her province is in direct path of the typhoon. Her spokesperson Georgina Hernandez said yesterday even though Robredo was away she was coordinating relief efforts.
Hernandez said Robredo “has been monitoring and directing the Office of the Vice President (OVP) to work with regional officials and agencies in setting up local relief centers for immediate emergency response on the ground.”

Netizens lashed out at the Vice President for her absence as Nina battered the Bicol region on Sunday.
Robredo and her children are in the US for a family reunion, according to Hernandez.
