US TV series "Madam Secretary" Potrays PH President as Pervert

Duterte, Philippine president, Madam Secretary, US TV show,

Malacanang complains that the US television series "Madam Secretary" has put the Philippine President in bad light by portraying him as a pervert. On the trailer of Madam Secretary's season 3 episode 15, with the title "Break in Diplomacy," the new Filipino president was shown as a character "who crosses the line" by making inappropriate advances towards the female lead character, US Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord.

The trailer was shown in Youtube with the title "Elizabeth is shocked when the Philippines’ unconventional new president, Datu Andrada (played by Joel de la Fuente), makes a pass at her during their meeting to discuss his refusal to participate in an Asia-Pacific territory treaty."

The Philippine embassy in Washington already sent a letter to the CBS Corporation, in "protest" of the character and to urgently call for "the necessary corrective actions."

Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella denounced the President’s portrayal.
“I think they are confusing their images. I think they are projecting something that they really would like to say about their own situation. Really, I think they should use a fictional US President,” Abella, in an apparent dig at President Donald Trump, said in a Palace briefing,

Asked if MalacaƱang finds the portrayal “insulting,” the Palace official said, “Well, they engage in something that they would like to…It’s their business, it’s their craft. You cannot deny them their craft—their taste perhaps.”

  1. Just received a check for $500.

Sometimes people don't believe me when I tell them about how much you can make taking paid surveys from home...

So I show them a video of myself getting paid $500 for taking paid surveys.
