Aksyon Tv reported that some victims of Super Typhoon Haiyan are eating spoiled rice that they received as relief goods from the government. The reporter said that even if they wash the rice multiple times it still results to a rice that tasted bitter and have a foul smell. The victims said that because of the spoiled rice adults and children are now suffering from diarrhea because of the spoiled rice, they are still eating the rice since they have no choice. Local government who distributed the rice said that the rice came from the National Government.
