Ceiling collapses at NAIA 3 (Philippines Manila Airport) injures passenger
A ceiling collapses at NAIA 3 (Ninoy Aquino International Airport - Philippines' biggest airport), that injured a foreign passenger. This is another hurdle to the infamous airport who is seen as among the worst in the world.
It happened at a restaurant at Terminal 3 of Manila airport and the collapsed ceiling scratched a male foreign passenger, according to airport spokesman David de Castro. Airport officials assist the injured passenger and he was treated but insisted on leaving on his flight for Japan hours later.
Terminal 3 is designed to handle 13 million passengers annually, it was built to decongest the capital's older terminals.
Passengers have complained of bullet planting, taxi scam, leaking ceilings, collapsed floors, malfunctioning equipment, congestion, and dilapidated facilities.
