MANILA, Philippines - 2 trains from Light Rail Transit line 1 (LRT1) collided at the Monumento station on Saturday morning due to a technical glitch.
According to Hernando Cabrera Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) spokesman, the incident happened around 7 a.m. one of the operator of the train hit his head on the dashboard and injured his right arm.
One of the passenger said that "The impact was strong." He also said the driver tried to stop the engine but the brake did not work.
