Manny Pacquiao's House Seized by Philippine Government, Manny Pacquiao tax case, Manny Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao's house in Forbes Park, Makati City was seized today by the Bureau of Internal Revenue because of a tax case. The Philippine government is trying to tax Manny Pacquiao for the amount that he already paid in the US. The seized house will be use by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) as a guarantee in Pacquiao's P2.2 billion (US$50,303,000) tax case.

This was first reported by a local radio news DZMM station. It was also confirmed by Internal Revenue Commissioner Kim Henares in an interview.

Pacquiao bought the house in North Forbes Park in 2011 for P388 million pesos.
